Kat here. I am not really a fan of talking too much about myself; but for the formality, I’d like to share some background on myself and how this blog came to be.
Currently, I am 24 years old. A Certified Fitness Trainer, Full-time housewife, and go-getter of my dreams.
Throughout my life (so far), I’ve lived in 3 countries: Philippines (born and raised until I was 16), Canada (16-23), and the USA presently. I feel very blessed to have the experience of living in different countries as it allowed me to expand my knowledge and appreciate the beauty of different cultures. Truthfully, there’s still so much for me to learn and grasp–but hey, I guess that’s what life is for. 🙂
To be completely honest, I never thought I would be blogging at this rate. As a young child I was always active in theater whether it’s acting or performing a dance routine. However, it was something I didn’t want to go to school for so I pursued the next thing I loved most, Fashion. I went to FIDM in Los Angeles in 2011 and took Fashion Design. Unfortunately, I was only able to finish 1 of my 2 years. Be that as it may, studying in FIDM for a year led me to the biggest blessing of my life: my husband 🙂
My hubby and I have been together since 2012. After FIDM, though, I had to go back home to Canada–So we had to make it work through a long distance relationship. In Canada, I had the wonderful opportunity to put my skills to work and be a prototype maker/designer for International Mascot Corp. While doing so, I decided to attain my Certification to be a Fitness Trainer (click HERE to read how working out saved me from severe depression) . Come August 2015, we decided to finally get married. After getting married, we decided for me to stay here. My US residency is (still) being processed right now and I wanted to make use of my time; Alas, this blog was born.
This blog is dedicated to sharing the things I am passionate about: LIVING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. From Fitness to Mental Health, and everything in between (food and relationships) !!
It makes me so happy writing and sharing these with you guys and I hope that you enjoy what you read. Please feel free to share your inputs and suggestions as well 🙂
