Yoga Supps: GAIAM Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder Review + Matcha Pistachio Muffins!

Hello Beautiful souls,

You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this moment!
Today I am reviewing a supplement from one of my favorite yoga brands: Gaiam!

Before anything else, I would like to thank YogaSupps , an exclusive retailer of Gaiam supplements, for giving me this opportunity. It is such a great honor to be noticed by a brand that is highly recognized in the Yoga world.

So let’s get this started! 🙂

The product I will be reviewing today is Gaiam’s Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder.

As a fitness aficionado, a quality protein powder is a necessity in my supplement stack.

I decided to try out the Vegan Vanilla Protein because eating more plants, to me, is always a good decision. Gaiam’s Vegan Protein is made of clean pea protein  and sweetened by Stevia. It contains only 102 calories per single scoop and 2 grams of carbs per protein serving, and comes in two flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla. For my first time trying it, I chose Vanilla.

The REVIEW:

Product Packaging / Presentation:
I haven zero complaints. It shows everything that I would want to know about my protein powder. Ingredients are all listed out and as for the main question: how much protein per serving? This baby gives you 20g of plant-power per scoop!

Mixability:
I’ve mixed Gaiam’s Vegan Vanilla Protein with both water and Almond Milk. I love how well it blended with the two and it wasn’t grainy like other pea protein powders I’ve tried.

Taste:
O.M.G This was so bomb that even my non-vegan friend complimented how good Gaiam Vegan Protein tasted. (I made her a smoothie one afternoon she came over.)

Smoothies and smoothie bowls are a regular in the foods I eat — they are very easy and quick to make, not to mention nutritious! I love packing mine with antioxidants and protein. It’s such a satisfying meal after a nice challenging yoga workout. Below are some IG story snaps of my quick smoothie bowl. I topped it with: granola, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, frozen blueberries, and cacao powder. I felt so fulfilled eating it. The vanilla protein blended with fruits gave me complete enjoyment. It tastes amazing! Super happy with the versatility of vanilla to be chocolate, too by adding cacao powder.

Pricepoint:
A 1 lb.  tub of Gaiam’s vegan protein powder is $34.99. This has a total number of 17 servings which equal to $2.05 per serving! That’s a win, if you ask me 🙂

The Verdict:
Yes, yes, and YES 🙂 I greatly recommend it to anyone looking for plant-based protein or would like to try a vegan protein. With clean ingredients and a practical price, purchasing this product is a sure win.

but wait…there’s more.

Did you know that you can use this product in your baking to make them protein-packed? 🙂 I’m so happy to share this delicious Vegan Pistachio Muffin Recipe as an example! Feel free to save the infographic or pin it to Pinterest!

Totally loving this protein powder and will be keeping it as a regular in my stack. So if you are looking for a quality plant-based protein, look no further and go for Gaiam! 🙂

  2. A smoothie with the protein supplements, almond milk and water seem too yummy! And too healthy for an after-drink after yoga. No wonder you love it! The recipe with muffins looks even yummier .

  3. Wow plant based protein is becoming more and more accessible. I recall about 10 years ago how hard it eased ro access. Thank goodness for better options.

  4. GAIAM has some interesting products, but I didn’t know they had this protein powder. Love that it’s vegan and offers all these nutrients.
