This post is dedicated into showcasing the beauty of The Salk Institute for Biological Studies. This building was the first destination to my solo trip to San Diego. The Salk Institute for Biological Studies is a scientific research facility that was founded by the polio vaccine developer Jonas Salk. The architecture at this institute is a result of a partnership between him and Louis Kahn, the building’s designer.
I am so grateful to have worked with the talented photographer Almira Stoieva at this stunning location. Almira is from Ukraine and decided to move to the US to expand her horizon, find inspiration, and live the California dream. It was both our first time and we truly marveled at the beautiful architecture.
I decided to go with a bold yet very comfortable outfit. I actually wore one of my bathing suits as a bodysuit and paired it with some printed trousers. I went with clear block heels to tone it down a bit 😉
The photos I have here are my favorites from Almira’s shots. Truly an experience I will remember!
